Seminary gives prime importance to the spiritual formation of the seminarians. Proper spiritual life and effective spiritual leadership potential are given utmost attention. Daily prayers are held thrice a day for the students. Fellowship Groups comprising of faculty and students are also formed to provide individual attention to the spiritual development of the students. An intercessory prayer group gathers together on every Thursday evening for intercession prayers. One day retreats are arranged in every semester. On every Tuesday evening a sermon is delivered by one of the faculty members, with the view of providing adequate spiritual input for the seminarians. In addition to this, students are also assigned to deliver a sermon followed by the evening prayer. The students also have a time for individual meditation in the evening
Social & Vocational Ministry
Along with the spiritual and academic formation equivalent attention is also given to the growth of social commitment of the students. The prominent among the various initiatives is Mor Ignatius Zakka I Iwas Social Welfare Forum. The forum organizes various charity activities in hospitals, prisons, marginalized communities etc. to render services to the needy and also to expose the students to the social realities.
